Trim a video

To trim a video in PowerPoint, you can follow these steps:

Select the video you want to trim.

Go to the "Playback" tab in the top menu bar.

Click on the "Trim Video" option.

A pop-up window will appear, showing a timeline of the video.

Drag the green start marker and red end marker to the points where you want to trim the video.

You can use the "Play" button to preview the trimmed video before you apply the changes.

Click on the "OK" button to save the changes.

PowerPoint will remove the trimmed portion of the video and keep the rest of it.

Note that trimming a video in PowerPoint only removes the portion of the video you don't need, but it does not compress or reduce the file size of the video. If you need to reduce the file size of a video, you may need to use a video editing software or an online video compressor.
